Attempted Robbery

The details of the following incident have not been confirmed, but I am posting this up anyway, just so that WB residents are aware of it:

This morning at 3am, 2 Indonesians armed with parangs attempted to break into a house in road 9. A guard on patrol saw them and approached them, but he was backed off with repeated warnings from the robbers. He radio-ed the rest of the guards and then proceeded to chase the robbers away before they could do anything.

We are grateful to the guards for preventing another robbery. The RM40 paid by residents from roads 6-9 appears to have paid off.

More details soon.

Update on WB's Security Measures

After several discussions between EMKO and WB's RA Committee, EMKO will revert to the RA on costings for a comprehensive security system next week which includes a card access system, 4 boom gates, visitor and resident entrances/exits, a new guardhouse, more guard patrols, and perimeter fencing around the neighbourhood. WB Residents will be given a circular detailing these measures and costs, and will be given an opportunity to vote for its implementation. More details next week.
